The mental edge, at squad scale

Professional athletes and their performance teams have jobs that are both physically and mentally demanding. We give clubs, federations and tournaments a way to improve mental performance across a squad, with training that integrates into physical practice rather than competing with it.

Proof

Two published partnerships, both at organization level rather than with individual athletes.

  • Dutch Open ATP

All participating players received complimentary access to the 2Mynds PRO Zone for the tournament — preparation and recovery routines built on science-based physiological progressions, tailored to each player’s situation.

  • UTR Sports

A partnership giving the UTR tennis and pickleball communities access to mental performance tools alongside the physical side of competition.

Ways organizations deploy it

  • Squad programme

The full THRIVE pathway across a group, integrated into existing physical training rather than added alongside it.

  • Event deployment

PRO Zone access for players at a tournament or camp — preparation and recovery routines, without changing anything else in their preparation. This is what the Dutch Open ATP ran.

  • Staff enablement

Work with your S&C coaches, psychologists and team coaches so mental training is part of the plan rather than a parallel activity.

What each role gets

Mental performance only works at squad scale when it fits what each person is already doing.

  • Performance directors

Empower all performance staff, see athletes thrive through preventative training, and reduce burden and cost.

  • Athletes

Use a mental fitness solution that trains mental skills in a way that works under pressure.

  • Strength & conditioning coaches

Integrate mind flows seamlessly into sport-specific conditioning, with no extra time investment.

  • Performance psychologists

Leverage group-based mental fitness analytics for early insights and direct your efforts efficiently across a squad.

  • Team coaches

Work with athletes who can put their mental fitness to work in sport-specific routines.

  • Clinical psychologists

Experience a reduced burden as preventative mental fitness training becomes a habitual practice.

Confidentiality

What the organization sees — and what it does not

Worth reading closely, because the limit is what makes the data worth having rather than a constraint on it.

  • Squad-level patterns

Aggregate trends across a group — enough to direct staff attention and plan around a season, without exposing any individual.

  • Participation and engagement

Whether the programme is being used, at the cadence it expects. The practical question a performance director actually has.

  • Never individual results, by default

An athlete’s assessment results belong to the athlete. They reach the organization only where that athlete directs it — and reporting can be switched off for a group entirely.

An athlete who believes their club is reading their assessment will not answer it honestly. Aggregate reporting that people trust is more useful to a performance director than individual reporting that quietly corrupts the input.

Questions organizations ask

What does the organization get to see about individual athletes?

By default, nothing individual. Assessment results belong to the athlete, and they reach the club only where that athlete specifically directs it. Organizations see squad-level patterns and participation. Reporting can also be switched off for a group entirely. This is deliberate: an athlete who believes their employer is reading their assessment will not answer it honestly, and the data stops being worth having.

Does this replace our performance psychologist?

No. It is training rather than consultation, and it complements psychological support rather than substituting for it. Performance psychologists typically use the group-level analytics to direct their own attention across a squad.

How much time does it take from training?

The mental workouts integrate into the cooldown of physical sessions rather than requiring separate time. That is the design constraint the whole method was built around.

Can we run this for a single event rather than a season?

Yes. The Dutch Open ATP gave all participating players complimentary access to the PRO Zone for the tournament — preparation and recovery routines that work without replacing any existing practice.

What does it cost?

Organization engagements are quoted individually — squad size, duration and the level of coaching involvement vary too much for a list price to be useful.
